Gracie Lou's Story
Hi... my name is Gracie.
I came to WAG with my momma when our owner couldn't care for us anymore. My mom has already found her forever home (rude... but I'm very happy for her), and now I'm patiently waiting for mine.

I'm about 18 months old (born 6/5/24) and weigh around 65 pounds. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but if you give me a moment and maybe a treat or two, I'll warm right up. Once I trust you, I turn into a total sweetheart whose love language is *all the affection, please.*

Speaking of treats... I LOVE them. They help me learn, focus, and honestly just make my day better. I enjoy playing, walk nicely on a leash, and I'm doing great with my basic commands. Oh-and bonus points for me-I'm already housetrained. I prefer my potty breaks outdoors like a proper lady.

Since coming to WAG, I've really blossomed. I've been working hard on my confidence, collecting volunteer friends, and making some doggie pals in playgroups. Turns out, I'm pretty likable once I feel safe. Who knew?

I'm looking for a kind, patient adopter who understands that good girls sometimes need a little time to shine. Mom says I do well with other dogs and cats, and WAG can help test that if it's important to you.

If you think you might be my person, please fill out an adoption application at **willistonanimalgroup.org/adopt**, and WAG will contact you to set up a meet and greet. You can also message on Facebook or call **352-528-9888** with any questions.

I promise to try my very best every day... and maybe steal a few extra treats if you're not looking.
