Gracie's Story
Meet Gracie!!

Gracie is a two-year-old, 45-pound shepherd mix sweetheart!

She came in a little shy, but don’t let that fool you. Once Gracie decides you’re her person, she’s all in. She bonded with her foster dad almost immediately, and now she’s his velcro shadow, following him from room to room and making sure he never feels lonely.

She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to the people she loves, and she’ll happily repay your attention with snuggles and a belly-up invitation for rubs.

Gracie is calm and gentle, and carries herself with a quiet dignity that makes her a joy to be around. She’s leash-trained, potty trained, knows how to sit on command, and is very food motivated, so she’s an easy student for anyone who wants to keep building on her skills. She’s curious about the other dogs in her foster home but hasn’t pushed to play, making her a polite and easy-going housemate. She’s good with kids too!!!

A few things to know: Gracie still has her eye on the squirrels, so a securely fenced yard is a plus. She’s also not a crate fan and does experience mild anxiety when left alone, which her foster is working with her on. She would do best with patient adopters who can help her build confidence at her own pace and other canine friends!!

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will love you fiercely and stick by your side, Gracie might just be your girl.

She’s being fostered in Portland Oregon, available to the whole west coast!

To adopt Gracie, apply at: bubblesdogrescue.org/adopt
