Gracie's Story

No, you’re not looking at a polar bear, you’re looking at Gracie girl! After being such a wonderful mother to her 2 adorable puppies, she’s ready to be your favorite love bug! This low energy girl would be perfect for a family that enjoys the laid back, relaxing lifestyle. After a short walk, she’ll show you her appreciation by nuzzling her head in your lap and giving you puppy dog eyes. The only thing Gracie loves more than naps is her people. Loyal to her core, she would be an easy addition to your family

*3 years old, 72 pounds
*low energy and loves naps
*great with kids
*independent girl and would thrive in a home as the star of the doggy show, or another independent, low energy dog. She loves small dogs because they remind her of her puppies!
*walks great on a leash with no pulling
*sassy queen with the most adorable lip smacks and post meal burps

Gracie is ready to be your loyal companion and new best friend

Gracie is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. When Mazie’s Mission rescued her little family from the shelter she was suffering from entropion which is a painful eyelid condition where the lids turn inward, which feels like sandpaper on the eyes! She has had successful surgery on her eyes to treat it and may need occasional eye drops. Another part of Gracie’s rescue story is that she sometimes limps. Our vets looked into this further by x raying her, and found about a dozen bb pellets lodged in her leg. There is no treatment for this except pain medication (which works great for her) when it is sporadically bothersome to her. She has had some really hard times in her life, but despite all that, she is so sweet and gentle. Gracie is a special girl looking for the very best home! If you want more information on her reach out to us by filling this out and we will contact you right away! Www.Maziesmission.Org/adopt
