GRACIE's Story

?This sweet 7-year-old English Bulldog has a face full of love and a story that tugs at the heart. Gracie spent her previous life in a kennel/crate, and it's left her a little shy, shutdown, and understandably fearful.

?She’s currently dealing with some medical concerns — dry, oily skin, irritation, and low muscle tone — all signs of long-term confinement. I.e life in crate. Her journey to healing starts now, with a full medical assessment followed by a training plan to help her build trust and confidence.

Gracie had her wellness exam and the vet was instantly smitten with her!

Despite her tough past, she’s doing remarkably well and continues to charm everyone she meets.

She does have two sores on her paws—likely from licking—but we’ve started her on a topical cream and soothing Epsom foot soaks several times a week to help them heal.

During her exam, the vet also noted her teeth are quite worn, with some hair buildup under the gum line (which they removed). She may need a dental in the future, but for now, we’re starting with regular weekly brushing.

It was also recommended that she gain some weight—something we hope will happen now that her days of being bred are behind her.

Gracie is thriving in foster care and getting all the love she’s always deserved.
