Gracie's Story
Gracie is a beautiful golden mix. Her personality, heart and soul are golden through and through. This dog who will be 3 this November was found by her family on a field when she was just a pup, about 5 months old.
The family is in the process of moving. Reluctantly, with heavy hearts they will not be able to take Gracie with them.
She has grown up with only this family. Gracie is very Velcro, just like a true golden. Super smart, super sweet and very affectionate. She wants to be with her people all the time. A social girl she attends doggie day care 2 times a week.

She should NOT go to a home with cats or other dogs. In her homw with her people she needs to be NUMERO UNO! Out socially she enjoys the playing of other dogs at doggie day care because she doesn't have to share her people and her home.

She has outgrown all the puppy habits that come with a younger dog. She is housebroken and does not chew. She will need some work on her leash skills as she gets so excited when it is time for a walk she pulls. Thankfully she is only 42 pounds and can easily have someone make corrections.
Gracie does get very excited when people come over, and in her excitement she jumps for a few minutes. She will need someone who can help her break this habit. Even at her size she could knock over a small child or an elderly person.
Gracie needs to be placed with a family who has time to make her a part of their life, in exercise, hanging around the living room and family outings. We would love to see her go to a home where she will have a purpose and a busy life. November is Gracie's birthday - all she wants for her birthday is a new family and a warm bed!
Up to date with shots
spayed

Our adoption fee of $350 covers all vetting and the transportation of your animal and you are asked to meet your new friend at the NY ,NJ, CT or NH transport locations.
