Grace's Story

Meet Grace! She is a 1-year-old beautiful medium-sized girl, weighing around 30 pounds, who’s ready to find a loving home to call her own. She came to us when her owners were no longer able to properly care for her, and she’s been patiently waiting since 4/16/2026 for her second chance.

Grace is a sweet, active, and engaging young lady who thrives when she’s included in daily life. She would love a home that enjoys walks, hikes, training, and other fun activities that keep her both physically and mentally stimulated. She’s eager to bond with her people and is happiest when she’s part of the action.

She will do best in a home without young children, and we ask that everyone in the home meet her prior to adoption to ensure a great fit. Grace has lived with other dogs previously and may do well with canine companions in the future, as long as introductions are gradual and thoughtful to set everyone up for success.

Grace is an incredibly sweet girl who is ready to shine in the right active, loving home. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you’re interested in meeting Grace or learning more, please reach out to an adoption counselor by phone at (517) 626-6060 or email at adoptions@adoptlansing.org.

All animals are adopted to individuals who agree to follow the guidelines outlined in the adoption contract. Adopters must be at least 18 years of age and are required to complete an adoption questionnaire, as well as provide valid identification and proof of current residence. Pets are placed in homes where they will be cared for primarily as indoor companions, and adopters must commit to providing lifelong care, including proper food, water, shelter, and regular exercise. Animals may be adopted as gifts in accordance with our gift adoption policy.
