Applications are answered before inquiries or emails. <br/><br/>Grace is getting scruffier every week! <br/><br/>Grace and her litter are available to Birmingham and surrounding cities only. They are fostered near Montevallo. They are not fully vetted or altered yet. We will wait until they are older and bigger. Adopter will sign a contract to be at our Vet when scheduled. <br/><br/>Grace had her first vaccines last week at the vet and an exam. She is 10 weeks and 3 pounds. We don't expect her to grow over 12 pounds. Her Mom was 11.5 pounds nursing. <br/><br/>Mom is a chiweenie. We would expect this litter to have several breeds in their DNA. We do not know the daddy dog, but we do believe it was a small dog. Grace is getting a scruffy coat, scruffier each week. We do feel that she would have a medium length coat by the time she is two years old. <br/><br/>Grace has only been exposed to older kittens, who are fascinated with the puppies! <br/><br/>Gracie is healthy and ready to start her life as a family companion. Last Chance Dog Rescue Alabama's Adoption Policy
We appreciate that you have considered the responsibilities of pet ownership and are interested in rescuing your new best friend. You came to the right place. We work hard to match you with the best pet for your lifestyle. Your new pet has been spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, bordetella, and rabies, heartworm negative, microchipped, and taking preventatives. You will receive your pets medical records. Small breed puppies will come with spay/neuter contract and/or refundable deposit. We do not have a facility. Dogs live with fosters. Long distance adoption possible depending on location. Long distance adoptions over 350 miles come with transportation and Health certificate costs. We strive to make the adoption process as easy as possible.
