Grace's Story

The Tale of Grace: The Waving Wonder
Life didn’t start out easy for Grace. As a little boxer mix now 4 months old, she had a rough and tumble beginning that left her wondering if the world was always going to be so cold and scary. But as fate would have it—and by the grace of something much bigger—her path led her straight through the doors of a local dog pound, and eventually, right into the loving arms of Rover Rescue. That was all it took to change her story forever.

Today, Grace doesn't dwell on the past. In fact, she lives every single day like it's the greatest party ever thrown. If you ask anyone at the rescue, they'll tell you she is the definition of a happy little girl. Her absolute favorite party trick? Showing off her manners and her charm. When she wants your attention—or just wants to say a very enthusiastic "Hello!"—Grace will plant her little bottom firmly on the floor, sit up straight, and wave both front paws frantically in the air as if she’s cheering at a parade. It is impossible to look at her and not burst out laughing.

Grace is a social butterfly, too. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, sharing toys and playing chase without a care in the world. And if there are cats around? She’s gentle and sweet-natured enough that she’s sure to win them over with her wiggly boxer tail. All this joyful pup wants now is a place to finally call home. She is dreaming of a human—maybe someone just like you—to share her days with.

Ready to Run: She'll happily sprint around the yard with you, bringing sunshine to your daily routine.
Ready to Laugh: Between her hilarious double-paw wave and her goofy boxer grins, boredom simply doesn't exist when Grace is around.
Ready to Comfort: When the day winds down, she’ll curl up right by your side, keeping you company and offering all the warm cuddles you could ever need.
Grace has so much love to give, and she's just waiting for her forever family to find her. Would you like to help Grace write the next chapter of her adventure, if so, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $300.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive and flea/tick preventive
- deworming
