Grace's Story

Grace is a 2-3yo mixed-breed girl currently weighing around 70 pounds. She originally came into one of our local shelters as a very pregnant stray, and raised her litter of pups in a foster home. They've all found homes, and now it's her turn!

Grace is deaf, and would strongly benefit from an adoptive home with an established, well-socialized canine friend, and she will require a fenced yard. Her current bff is a French bulldog in her foster home. She is housebroken, crates well, but will need some continued work on basic manners and leash work. Grace has also had eyelid surgery to correct bilateral entropian. She can be timid in new situations - we doubt she was ever socialized well outside of the home, and prospective adopters will need to understand that she will likely be a bit wary and stand-offish at first. Once she's comfortable, she's a ton of fun, and will thrive with someone who wants to continue working with her on hand signals.

Grace is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. She is being fostered in Bay City, MI, and her adoption fee is $100.
