Grace's Story

Meet Grace! She is a beautiful American Pit Bull Terrier mix almost 4 years old and around 50lbs.

She reluctantly was surrendered by a family due to health issues and they are hoping for a great family to spoil this wonderful pittie mix.

Grace (aka Gracie) is a super sweet girl who is well trained. She walks well with a leash, and she LOVES to learn and wants nothing more than to please you! She know lots of commands (due to clicker training). She would be a fantastic agility dog, if thats your vibe! She is also crate-trained.

Miss Grace loves walks and is dog friendly; neck scratches are her kryptonite. She is playful and silly. Shes a big fan of car rides and trips into the store. She is very food motivated but waits patiently for her dinner. Grace sleeps soundly overnight; either in her crate or in a bed on the floor.

She doesn't love the cold and initially was afraid to even go outside, but with a little coat, she's ready to romp around and play outside. She's got energy but not super high. She walks beautifully on the leash and will check in with you often. She has endless kisses and will smother you with them if you let her!

Grace is fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm-negative, and microchipped.

Like all CPR dogs, additional dog training is required.

Grace is currently being cared for by our rescue but would like you to make her a permanent part of your family today! Her adoption fee of $275 will also help to benefit other CPR rescue animals.

For additional pictures/videos on our website, please copy/paste this link in your browser:
https://www.chicagopetrescue.org/dogs.html#Grace

Current Location: Foster Home
