Goulash's Story

Goulash is a tender-hearted Rottie mix with an extra gooey center. At only 1-year old, Goulash is a bit nervous in the shelter and meeting new people but blossoms with his pal Schnitzel or another calm canine companion and a slow intro with lots of yummy treats. Once he feels safe, he melts into a wriggly, tail slapping goof who loves chasing balls (he is all paws!) and soaking up affection from his trusted humans. <br/>He is dog social and would love canine friends who are calm co-existers to help him learn about navigating the world as a good canine citizen. Due to his fear and sensitivity around handling, Goulash would do best in a home without young kids and with people who can give him the time and space to open up. Our adoption process is both simple and straightforward, and our goal is to ensure you and your new pet are a good match for one another. In Order to Help Us Find Your Perfect Pet, Please Come Prepared to: Spend adequate time getting to know the animal. Be certain pets are allowed in your home or apartment. Be a responsible pet owner. Be willing to give your new pet a permanent home. Show your Driver’s License, California ID card, or other photo identification (you must be 18 years old). We recommend any and all family members or other members of your household come with you. You are welcome to bring your resident dog to your dog/puppy adoption appointment as our team is available to help introduce them to your potential new adopted dog. Note: We do require that some of our adoptable dogs meet your current canine family members prior to going home.
