Gouda's Story

My name is Gouda, and trust me, life with me is just cheesy and wonderful! I'm a rich, golden-brown with an adorable dark muzzle and big, expressive brown eyes that will melt your heart. I'm 3-4 months old and expected to be maybe around 60 lbs. when I grow up. I'm a curious little adventurer who loves sniffing out new places, exploring the backyard, chasing toys, and zooming through the yard before finding a nice patch of dirt to roll around in. I wasn't too interested in water play, but I absolutely loved meeting people at the farmers market and soaking up all the attention. Kids are especially wonderful in my book, and I even thought they were part of my puppy pack!

I'm still learning all about the big world, including how to walk on a leash. Cars can be fascinating and make me stop and stare, but I like staying close to my person and will happily keep going when my little human friends are on the move, too. I'm already gaining confidence and have learned to sit! I'm not potty trained just yet, but I'm working hard and have only had one indoor accident so far. I'm also very good in my crate and even fell asleep during a car ride. And the best part? I'm a total cuddlebug. Pick me up for some TV time and I might fall asleep in your arms, resting my head on your shoulder and giving you plenty of puppy kisses. I still haven't found my bark, so for now, I'm just busy being the sweetest Gouda Girl around. I'm going to make my forever family SO happy!

Interested in meeting this dog?
Visit our website (https://www.sccrescue.org/) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend.

We love our dogs.
