Gouda's Story
Meet the most handsome little guy named Gouda. This pint-sized Chihuahua Dachshund mix was recently rescued from a hoarding situation.
He has been adjusting really well.

Vet estimates that he is about 3 years old and is 10 pounds.

He is now neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

He is crate trained, and is doing great using the puppy pee pads went he is out of his crate.

He is a fast learner and so gentle taking treat treats.

He is learning not to be terrified of humans and he quickly bonded with the foster family, seeking out attention from them in the most polite and adorable way. He is very well mannered.

He has started to learn what a toy is and was able to get his first bath ever! He did his first zoomies in foster and he is a delight to be around.

He is doing great with the resident cats and also was great with fellow dogs.

He will need a patient adopter who can go at his speed. He is still very scared of quick actions and approaches. We are working on being able to pick him up, he is still scared of that.

He really is a treasure and deserves all the love adoption can bring.

Gouda would not be good with young kids as he is best with those that will respect his space
