Gossett's Story
Instant impression of Gossett was an angel in kennel and a party outside.

Plus really good trotting ear bounce. Gossett may not listen to our requests to sit but he will take our treats and scratches. He’s a bit of a nosey neighbor so being outside at the shelter is too distracting. He is a very sweet boy who loves his snuggles and loves being active! All this wrapped up in a little package makes him pretty awesome!

Came in as an owner surrender on 10/13/25 and is available NOW
Gossett A302504 | Male | 2 years
Handling: https://youtu.be/PFK-zYuksWw
Leash test: https://youtu.be/n5Ww82QDF2E
More info: https://tinyurl.com/GossettCACC

Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).

We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter.
