He likes to take his time warming up, and once he feels safe, he becomes deeply affectionate, loyal, and quietly playful. He tends to form strong bonds with his people and looks to them for reassurance, making him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a sensitive, emotionally connected dog.<br/><br/>He is doing well with kennel training, is litter box trained, and is also learning to potty outside. Goose is very smart and thrives with patience, consistency, and positive guidance as his confidence continues to grow. He does well with other dogs and cats and will need to be adopted into a home with another dog, as having a canine companion helps him feel secure and truly thrive.<br/><br/>Because of his Golden Retriever and Border Collie heritage, Goose will still need regular exercise and mental enrichment.
