Gonzo's Story
Gonzo is an 9 month old, very cute low rider. He is the biggest and shyest of his litter, currently weighing about 27 pounds. We are not sure of his breed mix but based on looks only we suspect maybe some flat coated retriever, corgi, scotty, doxie, and perhaps schnauzer. Gonzo's favorite things are toys and playing with the other dogs in his foster home. Gonzo took about a week before he would go to his foster humans for pets, he is still shy and will try to get away if he is attempted to be picked up. He would do best in a home with another confident dog who would love to play with him. He would also do best with a fenced yard as he loves to spend time outside. Gonzo will need continued work with potty training, and basic obedience once he is comfortable with his people. He has been almost accident free in his foster home for the past couple weeks since learning the doggie door. His adoption fee of $300 covers his neuter, microchip with registration, vaccines, and current monthly flea and heartworm preventions. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply
