Meet Goliath<br/><br/>This big fella weighs in right around 85 lbs and is the very definition of a gentle giant. He is a senior guy who maybe has not always had the easiest life. He loves snuggling on the couch, snooring at top volume, and mostly likes to keep to himself. He is potty trained, neutered, and has lived with both dogs and cats before. <br/><br/>Goliath did come into rescue under some tough circumstances. He is currently being treated for heartworm disease and a severe allergic reaction left his skin raw and itchy. We have completed allergy testing and luckily his biggest allergy is an easy one to control! He is allergic to storage mites and dust mites. By keeping his kibble in the freezer and keeping a tidy home we can easily keep this guy's allergies at bay. <br/><br/>Heartworm treatment is fully covered by Happy Feet Pet Rescue and while Goliath can be adopted during his treatment, we do recommend adopters be local to the Lansing area for ease of transporting to and from vet visits. <br/><br/>Goliath is coming to the Happy Feet Pet Rescue Adoption Event TODAY! Come and meet him! He needs a pack leader so he can follow you from room to room. He helps in the kitchen by lying behind you as you work. He was his tail to welcome you home. He stands and waits fir you to wrap your arms around his chest and kiss him on his muzzle! He is a sweet dog who just wants a comfortable home and easy going relationships. <br/><br/>Adoption event is at 2pm- 4pm at Happy Feet Pet Rescue building located at 3276 E. Jolly Rd, Lansing
