Meet Miss Goldie! Goldie was rescued from a local shelter, and we cannot imagine how she wound up there! This little girl loves people, if you know dachshunds, you know that isn't always the case! Goldie is dog friendly, housebroken, and would love to spend the rest of her years with you! Please note that we wouldn't recommend a home with cats. While she isn't mean to them, she does like to voice her opinion about them....a lot...

Carolina Animal Network's Adoption Policy

To set up a meet and greet with our animals, we ask that adopters fill out an adoption application. We will check references (personal and vet) and then we will ask for a copy of the adopter's driver license. Once an adopter decides to adopt, they will pay the adoption fee via our paypal and will sign an adoption contract online.

Our Mission

Our mission is to rescue and re-home as many animals from high-kill shelters as possible. We also hope to promote spay & neuter to reduce animal overpopulation in our community. We advocate for shelter animals in North Carolina by pushing for shelter reform.
