Goldie's Story

Oh, this little girl is just ridiculously adorable!

Goldie is an approximately 1-year-old, 6-pound little scruff muffin who looks to be a Maltese/Yorkie mix. We're not entirely sure what went into making her, but whatever the combination was, it worked out pretty darn well!

Goldie came to us as a stray from animal control, and we can't imagine how this precious little thing ended up wandering around without someone looking for her.

She's cute as a button, scruffy in all the right places, and has the sweetest little personality to go along with that face.

Goldie is a lover. Plain and simple. She wants to be picked up, held, cuddled, and generally treated like the tiny princess she clearly believes herself to be. And we're certainly not going to argue with her.

But here's something even sweeter. Goldie doesn't just love cuddling with people. She loves snuggling up with other dogs, too! So if you've already got a little dog who wouldn't mind having a furry cuddle buddy, Goldie would be absolutely delighted.

She has yet to make a peep since arriving. Not one! We're not promising she'll never discover her voice, but so far she's been a wonderfully quiet little houseguest.

We think she'd probably do just fine with respectful children, and she's been okay in a crate and on a leash.

Honestly, there's not a whole lot to complain about with this girl. She's young, adorable, affectionate, and apparently believes personal space is highly overrated.

If you've been looking for a tiny, slightly disheveled little sweetheart to carry around and spoil rotten, Goldie would like to know what's taking you so long.

Someone is going to get one heck of a precious little dog!

Please apply here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog

Her minimum adoption donation amount is $375. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives.

We are located in Bloomington, IL
We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state.
Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt.

Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers.
