Goldie's Story

Goldie’s story is one of resilience and quiet strength. She was brought to the shelter alongside her three siblings after being hit by a car, arriving with multiple injuries and facing euthanasia. Thankfully, a compassionate volunteer reached out, and we were able to step in just in time to give this sweet girl the second chance she deserved.

Despite her rough start, Goldie has made an incredible recovery. She underwent FHO surgery and has healed beautifully—now she’s ready to start the next chapter of her life in a loving home.

Goldie is a 7-month-old, 18 lb Shepherd mix with a gentle, docile nature. She can be shy in new environments and when meeting new people, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats), she warms up and shows her soft, affectionate side. She’s very submissive and thrives in a calm, reassuring environment.

She enjoys short walks, playing ball, and spending time in the yard. Goldie is also friendly with other dogs and would likely do well with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. When fully grown, she’ll be a lovely medium-sized dog.

Goldie is looking for a patient, kind-hearted adopter who will help her continue to build confidence and feel safe. In return, she’ll offer quiet companionship and a lifetime of loyalty.

Goldie's adoption fee is $400 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccines/deworming/flea treatment current.
