Goldie's Story
Goldie is a petite sweetheart with a heart as warm as her name. She's gentle, affectionate, and loves being close to her people. From car rides, to long rides, or just snuggling on the couch - Goldie is the world's biggest lovebug. Her easygoing nature and smaller size make her a wonderful choice for a first-time dog owner or anyone looking for a loyal, gentle companion.

Goldie has become one of the shelter's most trusted pups. She's our designated "first-timers" dog, often chosen for volunteers' very first Doggy Day Out because of her friendly, adaptable personality. She regularly participates in children's programs, including classroom visits and summer camps, where she shines as an excellent canine ambassador. Goldie also enjoys spending time with her dog friends in our "Rough and Rowdy Crew" playgroup, proving she's just as social with other dogs as she is with people.

A website can tell part of a pets story, but not all of it. You'll notice that some pets may be listed as unknown or may not receive a yes for things like house training, compatibility with children, cats, or other pets. In many cases, this doesn't mean the answer is no, it means we cant guarantee the answer with complete certainty. Because every home, family, and pet dynamic is unique, behaviors in a shelter environment don't always predict behaviors in a home.

That's why adoption is about more than a website profile. Our team is here to share what we've observed, answer your questions, learn about your lifestyle, and help connect you with a pet that's the right fit for your family.
