Goldie's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Goldie's energy level is pretty chill and she seems to be content to relax just about anywhere. She's fine with other dogs and curious but not at all aggressive with cats. Even squirrels don't seem to interest her. Just lately she has started to play a bit with stuffed toys or ropes and there's been some tentative overtures of play from the other dogs which she is becoming more receptive to. Goldie mostly just wants to be wherever her human is. She seeks affection but is not pushy or jealous of the other dogs. At night she will sleep in a dog bed on the floor next to her foster dad's bed, but she loves sleeping in the bed with him, and she likes getting under the covers. As far as housetraining, she had it down pat in her previous home in Missouri, but as she's only been in her Florida foster home a week, she's still making some adjustments. When her foster dad goes to work, Goldie is crated for up to 5 hours. She does not bark much, but if she hears something she thinks is worth barking at, it's musical. She’s an easy girl who may be waiting to fully bloom once she's really put down some roots. Goldie is heartworm negative and she is ready to go on a sleepover.
