Glory - Tracy's favorite dog at the rescue! She has a warm up period. But it's worth it!

Glory is a sweet and tenderhearted little dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 29 pounds. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. <br/><br/>She was rescued after being found tied up in a backyard with her 7 babies. She was infested with fleas and ticks and never lived her life off a chain. Coming from the environment she was in previously, it is apparent that she wasn’t handled very much so she just needs a few minutes to know that she is in a safe space. <br/><br/>She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where she can get acclimated to her new surroundings and learn to trust. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own!<br/><br/>Glory is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
