Glory's Story
Hi there! It's me, Glory!

I recently joined the rescue on July 10th along with my momma and 3 other siblings. We came from the streets of Texas, but now I am living the good life in a wonderful foster home!

I would say I am the more reserved, observer type of gal. I like to watch all the action happening from a distance. Don't get me wrong, I still have my silly playful puppy moments.

I am currently in a foster home with 2 other big dogs and I am loving it! Despite their size, I can still keep up and hold my own. When playtime is over, I love to sit with my doggy foster siblings or foster momma and snuggle up for a nice nap. And don't get me started on food - hungry hippo! My foster says I am a little chunky girl but that's okay! I am growing and I deserve all the snacks!

I am starting to master potty training, I sleep in my crate throughout the entire night, and I love to go on new adventures. Shopping trips, errands, anything! I just enjoy being your little shadow and side-kick!

If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion like me, please submit an application online! I promise you will not regret it!

--------------------- About our process and fees---------------------

Our application: https://laststoprescue.com/adoption-app/

If you're interested in donating, sponsoring or volunteering please visit us at www.LastStopRescue.com or follow us on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/Laststoprescue.il
We treat these dogs as individuals with needs and to that end all of our dogs will have been in fosters no less than two weeks, they will have at least started training if not attend weekly classes and get daily training at home with the fosters!

Which means our longest residents will be the best trained, as long as they're with us we're going to keep socializing and working through any issues they may have.

When you adopt from us you will have a very clear picture of the dog you're meeting and on going support!

Our Fees are as follows:
Senior dogs over 7 are $450
Adult dogs are $650
Puppies under 1 year are $800
Specific breeds are $900

With each adoption you will be...
1. Given up to four hours of free training (from the foster and coordinator),
2. Full medical report of all findings,
3. All of the supplies needed for a new dog as we attain these for the care of each dog,
4. A full run down on their behavioral status, where they started, where they are and how far is left to go. This will be detailed in a training plan from us about what they can or cannot handle well and it will be discussed as much as needed.

We fully vet all of our dogs which is reflected in our adoption fee. On average we will pay about 600 dollars in medical per dog. Every dog gets a full blood panel, fecal/urine check, heartworm & tick panel and treatment if required, spayed/neutered, all shots and boosters, along with anything specific to their needs.
