Glenda's Story

Glenda's doing great! She learns to navigate her way around the house. She is loving and so sweet! On May 21, 2026 after many trips between her regular DVM and an Ophthalmologist, Glenda had to have her right eye removed. The pressure in that eye was not improving at all and the Ophthalmologist said it was necessary to be done ASAP. We weren't expecting a fast paced emergency case, but we are so glad we could save her. Glenda is amazing! Glenda was terrified and shut down in the Animal Shelter. We saw a video of her shivering and felt so bad for her! Once rescued, we saw her right eye was very swollen and got her in to see an Ophthalmologist ASAP. She has glaucoma and other issues with her eyes and may be visually impaired in her left eye as well. She is VERY sweet and a gentle sweet girl. <br/>Glenda is fostered in South FL thru www.ratbonertr.org
