In a home where he's the only dog, Glacier is very mellow and enjoys relaxing with his people, lounging on the couch for pets and belly rubs, or sitting outside on the deck enjoying the fresh air. However, when another dog is around, Glacier truly comes alive. During a recent two-week visit from his foster family's dog, Glacier transformed into a happier, more confident, and playful companionjoining the family on the couch, seeking attention, and showing off his fun side. Because of this, we believe Glacier would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help guide him and build his confidence.<br/><br/>Glacier is wonderfully gentle, affectionate, quiet, curious, and smart. He loves belly rubs, especially under his armpits, and will happily sit beside you soaking up all the affection you have to offer. He rarely barks and enjoys entertaining himself with squeaky toys, chew toys, and his favorite Benny Bone. His favorite treats are peanut butter Busy Bones and just about anything freeze-dried!<br/><br/>While Glacier enjoys exploring the backyard and playing with his toys outside, he's equally content being your relaxing companion. He would make an excellent cuddle buddy for a family looking for both a loyal friend and a calm presence in the home.<br/><br/>Because Glacier is still building confidence, he will need a patient family willing to move slowly and allow him to trust at his own pace. Quick movements and loud noises can make him nervous, and he's still working on basic commands like "sit" and "come."
