Glacier's Story

www.huskyrescueteam.org

If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.orgMeet Glacier

Glacier is a 3-year-old Siberian Husky who came to H-E-A-R-T after being picked up as a stray and brought to a shelter in Georgia. The shelter was having to euthanize for space but his happy personality, polite manners, and irresistible grin quickly made him a staff favorite. So when no one came to claim this charming boy, we knew he deserved a second chance!

Glacier may on the shorter side for a Husky, but his personality is anything but small! He's a high-energy, very vocal, social butterfly who absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs. He especially gravitates toward the ladies and seems to believe that when it comes to canine playmates, the bigger, the better!

In foster care , Glacier Is:

High-energy and very vocal
Social, happy, and playful
Good on a leash
Great with other dogs
No resource guarding exhibited
Not accustomed to being left alone for long periods

Glacier's Dream Home

Another playful dog is an absolute must for Glacier. He needs a young, active, medium-to-large canine sibling who can match his enthusiasm for playtime. He also requires a securely fenced yard and an active family with Husky or similar breed experience.

Glacier hasn't been evaluated around children, but a home with older kids would work. Glacier came into the rescue heartworm positive but is nearing the end of his treatment and ready for his next journey.

With his infectious enthusiasm, endless love of play, and larger-than-life personality, Glacier is ready to bring plenty of laughter, conversation, and Husky antics to his furever home. Just make sure his new best friend is ready to keep up!

Glacier is currently located in North Carolina. Adoption area CT to GA and we are able to transport. Neighboring states considered on a case by case basis.~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply

If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.org
