Meet Gizmo! Gizmo is a happy and energetic purebred Boxer. She is about 2 years old, female, spayed, and a reverse brindle in color (white and black cow puppy). Gizmo is an athletic, high-energy dog who can run and jump like a gazelle, and will need an active family that will ensure she gets regular walks and time to run. Gizmo might be a great candidate for agility. Gizmo loves car rides, stuffed animals, playing in the snow, and she has a ton of personality—she will talk and have a conversation with you if you listen. Gizmo also likes her down time, too, cuddling and napping on the couch near her people. She sleeps on her own dog bed and likes being tucked in with her blanket.<br/><br/>Gizmo seems to get along with other dogs, although she hasn’t spent a ton of time off-leash, but she has not been tested with cats. She is a "pandemic baby," so is under-socialized and can be shy with new people, but warms up quickly if they have treats. Gizmo would do best in a house with older, reasonably calm kids (probably 14 and up) as squealing littles ones can make her nervous. At 2 years old, she is still an adolescent in dog years, and her new family will need to proactive in her socialization and training for the next few years into doggy adulthood.
