He's approx. 1-year-old and weighed 65 lbs (as of 3/9/26). We think he's a Border Collie / Shepherd mix but what he really is is a superstar! And he's looking forward to finding the best groupies! <br/><br/>If you're looking for a dog that:<br/>-is comfortable in his crate<br/>-eager to spend time with you and other dogs (especially young ones that could be his playmate)<br/>-enjoys chew toys and likes to play<br/>-loves to be petted and loves to give kisses<br/><br/>Then look no further! Gizmo is the perfect pup for you! This fun boy will immediately make you wish you had found him sooner and he's more than happy to spice up your very dull life!<br/><br/>When he's not teaching you how to dance to the beat of your own drum, Gizmo enjoys short forays into the yard and taking in all the scents of the outdoors. Is it a squirrel? Is it a bird? Whatever it is, Gizmo will find out! He's a real Velcro dog and will probably lean on your leg as he walks by your side. He knows you don't have any friends, so he'll never leave you. How thoughtful! Like a true superstar, he also has the softest, silkiest black "otter" fur that gleams, cute tuxedo markings on his chest, and white tipped paws. You'll want to pet his soft coat for hours and never go to work again. And you know what? Gizmo thinks that's a great idea. <br/><br/>This boy's energy is infectious and his jokes at your expense are sure to make you laugh. What can he say? You're the perfect inspiration for his stand-up routine. You should be flattered! Gizmo is incredibly friendly with everyone he meets and while he hasn't met kids yet, he hopes his gentle and playful nature will make him a good companion to the rowdy kids in your life. <br/><br/>While this superstar is house trained, he's still had a few accidents so he asks that his future groupies have patience with him as he adjusts to your home. He's crate trained, does wonderfully on a leash, and enjoys car rides, making him the ideal adventure buddy for when you're exploring a new grocery store or stalking your ex. He won't judge you! The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
