Gizmo

This cute little guy is Gizmo, a 10 pound, 2-year old longhair Chihuahua with a lot of pep in his step. Gizmo may act a little shy at first around us big, new humans, but once you give him a little pet or talk softly to him, he'll be all over you. Beyond that, he loves curling up on your lap and checking things out, treating you like his grand protector. He frequently gets the zoomies big time and will go into a goofy state of "play, play, play!" for a handful of minutes before curling back up on your lap for some cuddles and comfort. He loves his people and playtime, and, while we are unsure of how he would do with other dogs and cats, his temperament and overall submissive personality suggest he would do OK, given there are slow introductions, especially with bigger dogs as they may intimidate him initially. He would also likely do great with kids who are not too high energy or rambunctious to ensure he stays comfortable in his new life. <br/>Gizmo is a gentle and adorable little guy who just wants a warm comfy place to sleep and someone's yard to run circles in.
