Gizmo

Gizmo is between three and four years old and was adopted to a wonderful home 3 years ago. Sadly, his dear owner has passed and we have been asked to find Gizmo a home again. He likes other dogs, is housebroken and weighs 12 lbs. He is neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. He is a wonderful dog - likes cats and walks so good on a leash. It breaks our heart to see him have to make a change again.<br/><br/>He was originally rescued minutes before being gassed at the shelter. He was about 5-7 months old when our contacts walked by and saw him tied to the wall - waiting his turn to be put to sleep. He had a leg with a green fracture so that is the reason they were putting him to sleep. Our contact asked the dog warden if she could take him home and to the vet and the rest is history. His leg healed and he was in good health ready to find his forever home. We found a wonderful family in Rochester and sadly the wife has passed away and the husband is not home enough, working long hours at his job.<br/><br/>He is a wonderful dog and would be great for a couple that wants a quiet and cute little boy. <br/><br/>Gizmo will be at Petco each Saturday on Hylan Drive from noon to two. We are at the back of the store, please come in and meet this cute little guy.<br/><br/>Like all Duffys dogs, a safe backyard containment system must be in place at the time of adoption.
