Gizmo's Story
Seven-year-old Gizmo (aka "The Mayor") is a staff favorite. He's a silly little boy who loves his toys, his belly rubs, and his hot dogs. He's a superstar who thrives on attention and likes to be in charge. Plus, he's a total show off who loves to pose for photos!

Gizmo has been a little quirky about getting into his collar or leash, but he's currently being fostered by CKC Training and is quickly learning that getting his gear on is a positive thing. We ask that his future adopter spend some time with Gizmo and his foster to make sure everyone is comfortable with the procedure before taking him home. It will be worth the time invested because he really is a wonderful boy and he loves going on walks!

Although Gizmo enjoys playing with some dogs, he doesn't like them sharing his bed or stealing his toys, so he might do best being an only dog.

Gizmo is housebroken, crate trained, neutered and microchipped. He is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt, which means we are only accepting applications from the Hurricane area (Washington County). He needs booster shots in early February (2026) before his adoption can become finalized.

If you're interested in Gizmo, submit a BAM Foster to Adopt Application, and if approved, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don't hear back within 7 days, please text us at 435-773-5209. To submit an application, copy this link and paste it into your browser: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/59142/generic
