Gizmo's Story
Meet Gizmo!

Gizmo is a 6-year-old pug with a huge heart and an infectious zest for life. This happy, well-rounded guy absolutely adores people, especially children, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. Gizmo has a knack for goofiness, loves his toys, and will bring endless joy to any family that's ready for a friendly, loyal companion.

Despite some health challenges, Gizmo's spirit shines bright. He has spinal myelopathy and pug myelopathy, along with an old slipped disc, which has reduced the feeling in his back legs. While he may need some wheels in the near future (which Pug Pals will gladly provide!), Gizmo is still mobile and active. He also has a seizure disorder, which is managed with medication. Pug Pals will cover his seizure medication for the first year to support his transition to his new family.

Gizmo is available for foster, foster-to-adopt, or adoption, and he'd love to find a home where he can share his love and laughter.

A bit about Myelopathy: Myelopathy in pugs is a progressive condition affecting the spinal cord, often resulting in reduced feeling and mobility in the hind legs. While it's a chronic condition, many pugs with myelopathy can continue to enjoy life with mobility support, medication, and some adjustments in their home environment. Gizmo's resilient spirit makes him a great candidate for a family ready to give him the love and attention he deserves.

If you're ready to welcome this sweet, silly, and loving boy into your home, please reach out to us to learn more about fostering or adopting Gizmo!
