What we know about Gizmo:<br/><br/>-Estimated- 8 years old<br/>-Male (neutered 8/5/25)<br/>-Roughly 16lbs<br/>-Shih Tzu mix<br/>-UTD on shots<br/>-HW negative and on preventative<br/>- On flea/tick preventative<br/>-Microchipped (when neutered 8/5/25)<br/>-Crate trained<br/>-Working on house training and going well with a routine<br/>-Dog friendly<br/>-Kid friendly<br/>-Attention LOVER<br/>-Playful and goofy!<br/>-Loves to play fetch<br/>-Food motivated<br/><br/>*Gizmo has been diagnosed with dry eye and will require eye drops every day. Which he is good about receiving* <br/><br/>*He is also still being treated for his skin condition, and it will take time for all of his hair to fill in and for him to finish up his meds* <br/><br/>Just a reminder that due to his breed, he will require professional grooming every couple of months. <br/><br/><br/>Gizmos Story: He was brought into our local animal control as a stray in horrible condition. He had severe ear infections, untreated dry eye, skin & yeast infection all over his body, along with covered in fleas and ticks. He had substantial hair loss from the combo of things he was dealing with and the little hair he had left was extremely matted. Needless to say, he needed more medical care than our local animal control was able to offer, so they called us for help!
