Meet Gizmo - Gizmo is a 1-year-old male Morkie (Maltese Yorkie Mix). He weighs 8.6 lbs. Gizmo came to us from a commercial breeding kennel. He is a very sweet dog who loves to snuggle and hang out with his humans. He currently is living in a foster home with another small foster brother and 2 other large older resident dogs and gets along well with all. He is playful and would do well with a playful dog or could be your one and only. He would be happy either way. Gizmo was very sweet with all the young children and teenagers he met at an event recently so a home with children would be fine. Since Gizmo is in a home with a fenced-in yard, leash walking is an unknown at this point. He comes when called so he would do fine with a yard without a fence. He is still working on potty training, and it's been a process that is ongoing. Gizmo will let you know when he needs something and once his needs are met, he remains quiet. He likes to have a snack at bedtime and will sleep quietly in his crate, and his crate remains dry overnight. Cats are also an unknown, but he had no reaction to the cats he encountered at the rescue office. Gizmo has been neutered, microchipped, UTD on shots and started on a heartworm preventative.
