This little boy is a purebred schnauzer baby who came to us with his pregnany momma who had him right here at our shelter. She did come from a schnauzer hoarding and breeding facility here in Montana. But both mama and babies seem very healthy. This little guy is about seven or eight weeks old now and is eating on his own and can certainly go home and become a member of a family and start his new life. His mama is about 15 lb and we believe he's going to be about the same. He's absolutely adorable and very friendly. He has two vaccines on board and several wormers and also comes with a microchip. He is too young for us to neuter at this point and we'll have to go out in a Foster to adopt situation where the new owner will be responsible for getting his neuter surgery done in 4 months. In the interim we have to collect a check for $150 in order to hold it as a guarantee that the surgery will be completed. Upon completion the check comes back to the owner and right back into the bank. We do this according to Montana state law which allows us to adopt out a baby that is not yet done.
