Ginny's Story
***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 4/17/26 ***** AS OF: 4-15-26 Intact female ~6 yrs. old 50 pounds Vaccines given 4-11-26 No microchip ALT ID# 4-11-26 3 4-15-26 Anxious but nice girl, walks on leash, knows sit and paw 5/6/26 - slightly anxious but can relax when receiving attention. takes treats gently, knows commands sit shake and lay down. Can be pet head to tail but does not seek attention. Very food motivated. Not playful with toys and doesn’t react when passing other dogs, but when other dogs pass her kennel, she reacts. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull on 4/18/26; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian.
