Ginny's Story

Meet Ginny,

Ginny is a 2 year old, 30 pound Golden Retriever mix! She came to us from a shelter and was an owner surrender with a euthanasia request. She spent much of her life outside, and it shows in the way she trembles when a human reaches for her. This sweet girl is very timid & shy with humans. She has never truly known safety! We do think she was abused, not just neglected. Despite everything she has been through, Ginney is incredibly gentle. She is a very sweet girl who just needs someone to show her love. There is zero aggression in her heart - only fear and a deep longing to feel safe.

Ginny will absolutely need another confident, kind dog in her future home to help guide her and sow her that the world doesn't have to be scary. Ginny's forever family will need patience, compassion and very big hearts. She deserves to finally learn what it feels like to be loved, protected and home. Getting her into a loving environment as soon as possible will truly help her confidence continue to grow!

Please consider fostering or adopting this sweet girl.
