I am a 5 year old Boston MIX and weigh 32 pounds. I need a new home because I was released from a backyard breeder. I am being fostered in St. Louis, MO.<br/> <br/>I love sleeping and laying on the couch the majority of the day. I love to be petted and sit beside my humans. I am an excellent couch companion. I would be the perfect dog for any family. I am very sweet and just want attention from my humans.<br/><br/>I have learned recently how to run outside and play with dog toys. I like to go outside and come right back in after my potty breaks. I get along with female dogs very well.<br/><br/>I love all humans. I need a person who is willing and patient to show me what it’s like to be a dog. <br/><br/>I would rather not have too loud of an environment. Sudden noises do startle me. I love my calm sleep time in my dog bed. <br/> <br/>Here's a little more about me:<br/>Housetrained? working on it<br/>Leash-trained? Yes <br/>Rides well in car? Yes <br/>Good with other dogs? Yes, I live with female dogs right now<br/>Good with cats? not yet tested<br/>Good with young children? Yes but startles easily so older children probably best. <br/>Good with strangers? Yes <br/>Shy or confident? Shy <br/>Barks? Yes only when a noise scares her. <br/>Apartment qualified? Yes <br/>Any Special needs or Health Issues? Yes, I have allergies. Unfortunately due to untreated ear infections I have what is called cauliflower ears. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.<br/><br/>MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.<br/><br/>If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application<br/><br/>Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
