Prancer will require basic obedience, house and leash training. <br/><br/>These pups are currently in Louisiana where their rescue began until they are ready to travel to RI on March 17. Applications and adoptions are being processed now. Based on the number of applications being submitted before their arrival, we determine they will be adopted before a meeting in person could be arranged, therefore, if you are interested, it is advisable to apply now to be approved to adopt.<br/><br/>Our adoption fees are: Puppies 475, Adults 425, Seniors 275. These adoption rates include transport to designated New England pick up locations using either Rescue Road Trips or Pets LLC. If you do a search you will see that this is a very reasonable adoption fee and comparable to other rescues. <br/><br/>All our dogs are altered (spayed or neutered), DHLPP, rabies, Heartworm tested and neg, microchipped and get a fecal and treated for parasites if any found. A meet and greet is not possible before adoption unless we have a foster home open up. Most times our dogs get adopted before a foster home becomes available - and if so they go straight to adoption. Foster mom's talk to adopters and feel confident that this will be a match before our dogs are transported up. Also if by some chance it is not a match we have a safety net in place as we ask that adopters let us know that it is not a match and we direct you to take the dog to a foster home or boarding kennel once that is arranged. If necessary, we might ask you to foster the dog until a foster home can be arranged.
