What is Save A Life Pet Rescue’s adoption process?
All of the pets we have listed on our petfinder link will be available for this weekends event unless their Petfinder description states otherwise. Petsmart in Oviedo from 12:00pm-2pm (Sat) 12:00pm-2pm (Sun) 1115 Vidina Place Oviedo 32765 SIGN IN SHEET GOES UP AT NOON (Sat & Sun) People do arrive early to wait in line to sign in on the list. *Line forms outside, in front of the large Grooming window.* We go in order of the names on the list to give people the chance to adopt. The best way to get first pick at adopting is by arriving early to wait for the list to be put out. You do not need to add the name of the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. Please text me at 407.952.1037 with your email address, if you plan on attending the adoption event. I will email you over the application/contract that will need to be printed, filled out and brought with you to the adoption event. We will only keep your application/contract if you meet the perfect furbaby and decide to adopt! By receiving the contract/ application it does NOT guarantee an adoption nor place any pet on hold for you. I will also provide, through text, a lot of information on how to care for your new rescue pet, what they eat, health guarantee information etc. That way, if you do find that perfect new family member, you will be fully prepared. We do NOT have a physical location where the pets can be visited as we are an all foster based rescue. $400 Adoption Fee *Cash Only* Please understand our rescues are pulled from animal controls and may have 7 plus breed mixes in them. We cannot guarantee all the mixes and we aren't given that information. All pets are exposed to other pets and children. (Unless otherwise stated) All pets come with a minimum of 2 sets of puppy vaccines, flea, heartworm prevention, 2 de wormings and NEUTER. All of our pets have been started with crate training. Please remember we are NOT associated with Petsmart and their employees will not be able to answer any questions for you regarding Save A Lifes adoptable pets.
