Meet Ginger

Living in the drainage ditch behind a community center for about a month, someone saw her and posted online. We went looking for her and found her. We called for animal control backup to help get her out of the ditch. She spent two weeks in the shelter while we waited for her owner to reclaim. No one ever showed up. So we rescued her after they performed all her vetting and tried to find an adopter for her. We pulled her before her time was up. We gave her a new name and have crate trained her and she is settling in well here at the rescue. She is loving and likes to keep you captivated. Walks well on the leash and plays fast with other dogs. Knows commands and does them for treats. Loves food, acts like she’s starved. She does have a fast metabolism so she needs at least 3 cups a day!
