Ginger 39's Story
HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt). Please use our official website rather than the Petfinder "Start your Inquiry" button.

Ginger #39 is an adorable 11-month-old female Yellow Labrador Retriever with a sweet personality and a zest for life. This beautiful girl was surrendered when the elderly couple who adopted her realized that, despite their best intentions, they were unable to keep up with the energy and activity level of a young Labrador. Wanting the very best for Ginger, they made the difficult but loving decision to find her a home that can provide the active lifestyle, guidance, and training she deserves.

Like many young Labs, Ginger is full of enthusiasm and is still learning her manners. She will benefit from continued training and consistency to help her become the wonderful companion we know she can be. Ginger is eager to please and has all the qualities that make Labrador Retrievers such beloved family dogs. Ginger gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to play with. Because of her energy level, a securely fenced yard would be ideal, giving her a safe place to run, play, and burn off some of that youthful excitement.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate young Lab and are ready to invest the time and training she needs, Ginger may be the perfect addition to your family.
