Ginger's Story

Ginger and her sister were found running in the county for a few days before coming to us April 1, 2025. Ginger is a wonderful Hound mix and is very outgoing and playful. She play bows and loves to use her Hound voice. Everyone she meets, she is wagging her short tail. Our veterinarian estimates her to be around 2 ½ years old and weighing about 77 pounds. Ginger was vaccinated with Distemper combination & Rabies vaccine, and Heartworm 4-DX tested negative on 4/11/2025. Due to her being in heat when she came in, our veterinarian had us wait before she was spayed, she got her pre-anesthesia blood work (all normal) on 5/16/2025 and was spayed on 5/20/2025. Ginger will need a patient family, who is willing to work with her and attend obedience class, as she has not had any training. We schedule Meet & Greets by appointment only. Please submit an adoption application for our review. Here’s the link: https://cms8.revize.com/revize/booneil/Departments/Animal%20Services/ADOPTION%20APPLICATION.pdf
