Gin Gin's Story

Meet Gin Gin-Playful, precious, and ready to belong!

Gin Gin is a 3 year old 40-pound Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and playful spirit. This sweet girl’s previous owner was no longer able to care for her, and she was taken in by a partner rescue in Kentucky before making her way to Save The Animals Foundation, where she’s now ready to find her forever family.

Gin Gin can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but give her just a little time and you’ll see her warm up quickly into a loving, loyal companion. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and playful personality really shines.

She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and running around outside. Whether it’s zooming around the yard, going on hikes, or joining you for outdoor adventures, Gin Gin will thrive in an active home that can give her the exercise and engagement she needs. A confident canine buddy would likely help her feel even more at home (though it’s not required). She also has done well with cats.

Gin Gin is ready for a patient, loving family who will help her continue building confidence and give her the active lifestyle she enjoys. In return, she’ll give you endless devotion and happy tail wags.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful girl to share your adventures, Gin Gin might be your perfect match!

Visit STAF.org for more information on our adoption process. *** Email adoptadog@STAF.org for next steps! ***

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter
