Gin's Story

Gin is a neutered male tricolor Sheltie. He is around 2 years old, and he currently weighs 37lbs. Gin's owner could no longer care for him, so he finds himself with rescue. He is up to date on all of his vet care, and has recently been neutered and had his teeth cleaned. He is crate trained and working on his housetraining. He is a sweet boy but can be shy until he gets to know you. He seems to get along well with most other dogs, but has not been tested with cats or children. He has some scarring on his face, and will be visiting our veterinary dermatologist in November to get a diagnosis. A securely fenced yard is required for Gin's adoptive home. If you're interested in meeting or adopting Gin, the first step would be filling out an adoption application via our website scsheltierescue.com. His adoption donation is $400. OCTOBER 2026
