Update 4/20/26: Gilly is now with us at the shelter and she is wonderful! Follow our Facebook page and see what a great girl Gilly is.<br/>__________________<br/>This beautiful girl was adopted as a puppy from a local rescue. The fit was absolutely not correct and therefore she has been surrendered for everyone’s sake. This is from the adopter:<br/><br/>“Do you have room in your home and heart for a frisky hound? Gilly is a Coonhound mix rescue dog from North Carolina. She is 2 years old, healthy, affectionate, playful, and gentle with people, cats and other dogs.”<br/><br/>We think she would be happiest in a busy active home with older kids or other dogs. We would love for her to go to a good new home where she can get all the running, walking, and playing she adores! A fenced yard is recommended. <br/><br/>I have spoken to the owner where she boards and they adore her.
