Gilly's Story

Meet Gilly!

Gilly is a 6-month-old Doberman puppy with a huge personality, an even bigger heart, and enough goofy energy to keep you laughing every single day.

He came into rescue after being found as a stray, underweight and suffering from a terrible skin condition that had caused him to lose most of his fur. Thanks to an amazing foster home, proper care, good food, and lots of love, Gilly has made an incredible transformation. His skin looks great, his coat has grown back beautifully, and he is thriving.

What has never changed is his personality. From day one, Gilly has been one of the happiest, sweetest puppies around.

He is affectionate, playful, incredibly smart, and pure entertainment. He loves people, loves other dogs, enjoys puzzles and enrichment, and is always ready to learn something new. He currently lives with another dog and has also played well with other dogs.

Gilly is already around 50 pounds and still growing, so he is going to be a big boy. Because he is a young, intelligent, energetic Doberman, he is looking for an active home with Doberman or similar breed experience. He will do best with someone who understands the importance of continued training, structure, exercise, and mental stimulation.

A fully fenced yard is required.

Gilly’s details:

* 6 months old
* Doberman
* Approximately 50 lbs and still growing
* Up to date on vaccines
* Scheduled to be neutered and microchipped on 9/13
* Loves other dogs
* Cats unknown
* Active home required
* Fully fenced yard required
* Doberman or similar breed experience preferred

And yes, Gilly gets to keep those big, beautiful floppy ears. We think they fit his goofy personality perfectly.

If you are a Doberman person, meet this boy and there is a very good chance you are going to fall in love.
