Gilley's Story
Meet Gilley!

Gilley is a 4-month-old, 10-pound Dachshund mix with a gentle, sensitive heart. This sweet boy is still learning that people can be friends—but having another dog around has made all the difference! With the help of his foster’s resident dog, Gilley has started coming out of his shell and approaching people for attention.

He’s still on the shy side, but once he trusts you, he loves to be held and cuddled. Gilley will need a patient adopter who can give him time to settle in and feel safe. He’s doing great with potty training using a doggie door, though he’ll need a little time to adjust to a new routine in his forever home.

A confident dog companion is a must for Gilley—he looks to other dogs for reassurance and guidance. Because loud noises and fast movements can be overwhelming, Gilley would do best in a calm home without young children. With love, patience, and a friendly dog buddy, Gilley will continue to blossom into the affectionate, loyal little guy he’s meant to be.

Gilley is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and will have a health certificate prior to adoption!
