Gigi 's Story

What to say about this girl? Such a mush, reallllly enjoys nap time…..and food - loves her kibble and refuses to eat her fruits and vegetables 😂 she’s a meat and potatoes- mid-west kind of girl! For Gigi, it’s a tie between meals and naps.

If you were ever looking for a super low maintenance dog this is your girl. She needs 2 square meals a day and a few potty breaks. She’s the definition of L-A-Z-Y. She will entertain you and go on short walks with you but couch/bed = life.

She’s potty and crate trained even though she loves her couch time! She can be left alone (un-crated) without getting herself into trouble. Her biggest decision is which couch to sleep on while you’re gone. But she’s also completely content napping in her crate while you’re at work or out.

Great in the car, knows basic commands and is working on her dog tolerance. With meds and training (including muzzle training) she has had several successful encounters socializing with other dogs. Even though she has had these encounters- she would still prefer to be the *only dog* in your home. But her current foster promises to reserve a boarding spot for her anytime you need to go away to continue to ensure if she has any encounters with other dogs , it’s in a calm, controlled training environment.
